Free Seminar: From Social NOTworking to Social NETworking

OpenGlobal are holding another FREE seminar on Thursday 12th of May at the Gloucester Guildhall covering the topic of Social Networking and Social Media.

The seminar is aimed both at companies who have not started a social media campaign yet, and those who have started (or dabbled) but want to get better results.

Registration will start at 09:45 and the seminar will start at 10:00. There will be a short refreshment break half way through and the seminar should finish by 13:00. Naturally, places are limited so contact us now on 0845 269 9624 to reserve your place.

For those who have not started a social media campaign, we'll be covering all of the ins and outs so that you can decide whether you really want to try it. Social networking isn't for everyone so it's important to know whether it's for you before potentially wasting a lot of time on it.

We'll show you how to set up your accounts properly on the major networks (including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube), because an incorrectly set up account can severely limit your success.

We'll show you how to get more followers and the sorts of things that you should be talking about on these networks. We'll also cover the sorts of things you should not be talking about unless you want to alienate your existing followers.

There are many useful tools available to make social networking easier, especially if you are using multiple networks, so we'll go over these tools and how to use them.

An important consideration for all companies is that even if you are not using social media, your customer and potential customers will be. So we'll show you how to monitor the things being said about your company, and where they are being said, so that you can respond to them appropriately. We'll show you the damage that has been caused to other companies by not monitoring the reviews and comments about them appearing on social media.
